When fitting out a boathouse, racking is essential. At Waterline we offer a range of modular boat racking systems. These racks are available in standard configurations but can also be customized to meet your specific requirements.

Boat Racks

For boat storage, several standard rack configurations are available for different boat classes.

• Singles (1x) and Doubles (2x/2-) the standard rack is 2.0 m high, 2.8 m wide, and fitted with 2 × 5 arms of 70 cm. (Single-sided or double-sided)
• Fours (4x/4-/4+) the standard rack is 2.5 m high, 5.6 m wide, with 2 × 5 arms of 70 cm. For heavier boats, heavy-duty arms of 80 cm are available. (Single-sided or double-sided)
• Eights (8+/8x) the standard rack is 3.0 m high and 2 × 5.6 m wide, fitted with 3 × 6 heavy-duty arms of 80 cm. (Single-sided or double-sided) 

Options

Single-Sided or Double-Sided

All racks are available in single-sided or double-sided versions.
Single-sided racks store boats on one side only and are typically placed against a wall.
Double-sided racks allow boats to be stored on both sides and are usually placed in the center of a boathouse.

Rack heights

Five standard height options are available:

• 2 meters
• 2,5 meters
• 3 meters
• 3,5 meters
• 4 meters

Rack arms

Arm length can be customized. Most arms are also available in a heavy-duty version for additional strength.
Telescopic arms are available to prevent lifting boats past the arms above.

• 70 cm standard arms
• 80 cm standard arms
• 80 cm 'heavy duty' arms
• 100 cm 'heavy duty' arms
• 100 cm telescopic arms
• 120 cm 'heavy duty' arms

Wheels

By default, racks are supplied with fixed feet. Wheels are available to allow racks to be moved easily. Three options are available:

• "Free" wheels
• Fixed wheels
• Fixed feet

Building Fixation

Standaard staan de de rekken op zichzelf. Echter zijn er ook opties om de rekken aan de muur of aan het plafond te bevestigen

Oar racks

Two types of oar racking are available: vertical and horizontal.

Vertical Oar Racks

Several standard configurations are available. All versions can be supplied as single-sided or double-sided, allowing oars to be stored from both the front and rear.

Standard sizes:

• 1.4 m wide with 10 arms, suitable for 9 × 8 sweep or board oars
• 2.0 m wide with 14 arms, suitable for 13 × 8 sweep oars
• 2.0 m wide with 15 arms, suitable for 7 × 8 sculling oars and up to 7 × 8 board oars

Horizontal Oar Racks

Several standard configurations are available. All versions are available as single-sided or double-sided, allowing oars to be stored from both sides.

Standard sizes:

• 1.4 m wide × 2.0 m high, with 10 arms, suitable for 10 × 8 sets of oars
• 1.4 m wide × 2.5 m high, with 12 arms, suitable for 12 × 8 sets of oars
• 2.0 m wide × 2.0 m high, with 10 arms, suitable for 10 × 8 sets of oars
• 2.0 m wide × 2.5 m high, with 12 arms, suitable for 12 × 8 sets of oars
